A realistic 20-minute structure for making daily progress in a new technical skill.
You do not need a dramatic study schedule to make progress in tech. You need a routine that is small enough to repeat on an ordinary Tuesday.
Minutes 1–3: reopen the thread
Read yesterday’s note or answer one review question. This tells your brain where you left off and prevents every session from feeling like a new beginning.
Minutes 4–15: learn one idea
Watch one focused lesson, read one short explanation, or complete one guided exercise. Avoid collecting ten tabs. Depth beats browsing.
Minutes 16–20: use it
Write a short summary in your own words. Change a line of code, sketch a screen, make a spreadsheet formula, or explain the concept aloud. Application is what turns information into skill.
Use TechDojo to create a simple lesson queue, then protect the same time each day. Missed a day? Resume tomorrow without “starting over.” Consistency is not perfection; it is returning.
